Fabric Bowl

Well, the short attention span continues, so I have just decided to go with the flow.  One technique I have been wanting to try for a while is crocheting with fabric.  I love all of the fun colors and patterns that you can find in cotton fabrics, but I don’t really sew unless I have to.  This is a great way to play with fabric using my crochet skills!

I made a small, modified of version of The Crochet Dude’s Fabric Bowl pattern and I followed his instructions for connecting the fabric strips.

And here is my little bowl.  It’s not perfect, but I like it and I definitely learned some tips along the way of how I can make the process smoother for next time.  It was a little hard on the hands, but the end result was worth it.  I will definitely be making more.

Supplies: Fabric cut into 1.5 inch strips, size P crochet hook
