Most of the time I tend to create my Christmas cards in the traditional red and green colors. But every once in a while, I like to step outside the box and pick a unique, non-traditional color combination. This card is about as non-traditional as you can get using purple and yellow. Although I did have to sneak a little bit of green in there to tie it all together.
All stamps are DRS Designs. The greeting and light string were stamped in Ranger Archival Ink (Jet Black). The light background was stamped randomly with Adirondack Ink (Purple Twilight). The light string was colored with Prismacolor Pencils and blended with stumps and mineral oil. All cardstock, except for white, is Bazzill. I embellished the card with purple and green swirl buttons. I used pop dots on the greeting to make it stand out a bit from the card .
