Last week was the third week of my Creative Card Making classes. I taught my students how to use punches to create designs for their cards. I demonstrated uses for border punches, corner punches and then I showed them how to use several punches to layer and build a design. Below is one of my favorite designs that I usually demonstrate. I originally found this idea a few years ago on a website that had several Punch Art designs.
I used 2 different style flower punches, a leaf punch and a swirl punch to make the flower border. I love to use different colors on the flowers because it adds depth.
I plan to give this card to my husband for our 19th wedding anniversary later this month. 🙂
We have spring break this week so there are no classes. Next week will be the final class and I will show them how to take their cards to the next level by adding accessories.
